GoDirect Routers (GDR) is an open architecture, all digital, integrated cabin network solution, featuring an advanced IP-based data router, multi-band wireless (WiFi) capability, and a full suite of key networking interfaces. The GDR was designed from the outset to provide the highest quality data-connectivity solution in aviation today.
GDR represents that biggest advancement in aircraft router technology in years. The unit offers exceptional speed, performance and reliability of today’s best routers in a package that is 65% smaller, 45% lighter and uses 35% less power. Its compact size makes this router ideal for today’s business jets, turboprops and helicopters, where space and weight are at a premium.

The new technology allows private jets to have the bandwidth to connect everyone in the cabin with WiFi that is comparable to the ground. Passengers connect with their own devices to surf the net, log onto the company server or even stream live video. The router can handle up to 50 connected on-board devices simultaneously.
For new cabin installations, the GDR is outstanding for simplicity of wiring and ease of placement. For in-service aircraft with routers unable to support advanced applications, or legacy routers with parts obsolescence issues, the GDR provides the best possible upgrade choice for either situation.
Throughout 2021, Jetex plans to equip more aircraft with GDR to keep travelers online through high-speed, reliable and advanced in-flight connectivity portals at 35,000 feet globally.
